Modernica has teamed up with Girl Skateboards to create custom OG Dolls featuring art by Ed Templeton, Mark Gonzales, Lance Mountain and Natas Kaupas..

As Modernica specializes in wood work it only made sense that we utilized the best maple plys & custom fiberglass artwork to elevate the details featured for each artist.

Girl skateboards appointed 4 creatives who were each tasked with creating art that would eventually be featured on the Modernica constructed Girl wooden dolls. The Modernica X Girl Skateboards OG Doll is hand constructed of 15 layers of maple ply wood standing at 22" tall. The top layer of the doll features artwork embedded inside fiberglass and beveled to create a smooth round edges. The doll is finished with a custom wood branding stamp featuring both the Modernica & Girl Skateboards logos.

All dolls are crafted by hand at Modernica's factory in Los Angeles, California.
